Positional Projects Restores Giant Rock
One of the Mojave Desert’s most sacred Indigenous landmarks, Giant Rock, has recently been restored thanks to the incredible efforts of Positional Projects and Blight Sites through their Stories & Stewardship program.
This important cleanup restored a site long revered by the Chemehuevi and other Native communities, honoring both cultural history and environmental responsibility.
To restore this historic site without causing harm to the surrounding natural rock, the team used the World’s Best EcoBlaster (our compact, professional-grade pressure washing system) alongside our line of biodegradable graffiti removal products.
Nicrotex climbing paint was removed using Transgel. Older, baked-on graffiti was cleaned with Vanish and Bare Brick, Stone & Masonry Graffiti Remover, both designed to penetrate porous surfaces while preserving the natural patina of stone.
